What Questions Should You Ask - We Can Help You
The “process” of deciding WHAT dental treatment you should have, WHERE you should have it, and most importantly WHO you should go to for this treatment is a long and challenging one. It is one of the most important decisions you will ever make! Probably the most critical step in this search is your meeting with the practitioner you have chosen, whether it be in person or on a zoom call. This is your opportunity to gather all the information you need so you can make the most informed choice of how to proceed. However, in order for you to make the most of this opportunity, you need to “Ask the Right Questions”. The problem is, as someone who has no experience as a practicing dentist, you don’t know what you don’t know, and so you don’t know what are the right questions.
This is one of the most valuable ways in which we at GDH can assist you, and this is where we distinguish ourselves from most if not all of the other individuals and groups who are currently in this business arena otherwise known as “dental tourism” (I term that we are not very fond of). During our 35 years as practicing oral surgeons, we have had consultations with hundreds of patient; we know the concerns and issues that people have, and we know how to prepare them so that they can proceed with their treatment with confidence, and be as knowledgeable and informed as possible.
We can chat with you, we can get to know what your issues and concerns are, and we can go over in depth what questions you should ask the dentist you are considering. We have what we call an “Information Package” that we can share with you that outlines the key questions that you should be asking. In addition, during our conversations we can go over some very important “follow up questions” that you can be prepared to ask so that you can get the most comprehensive information during your consultation. We will be with you every step of the way.
We at GDH welcome the opportunity to assist you in any way that we can.
